Many organizations struggle with decisions that take too long and fail to achieve their goals. In a survey of corporate decision-making, McKinsey Consulting found that only 1 in 20 executives felt their organization excelled in decision-making and that 61% of the time spent on it is wasted. As companies and teams transition to AI experimentation and adoption, we can expect these struggles to expand.
Thankfully, there is another way: intentional, structured, cross-functional decision-making that leads to timely, effective outcomes.
Founded by Cynthia Cheng Correia, The Decision Collaborative is the hub of multidisciplinary expertise and best practices that propel decision-making and critical decision inputs. In a time of deep complexity, uncertainties, and unprecedented information – and noise – we stand at the intersections of the disciplines, discoveries, and innovations that continue to shape and sharpen decision-making. As human capacities expand into innovative technologies, The Collaborative builds on the vital cross-disciplines necessary to answer critical questions, enhance decision-making, and improve decision practices. We work with behavioral, technical, and functional advisors and thought leaders to bring deep and keen insights to help penetrate barriers and bring clarity.
Through decision best practices and our Decision FoundationsTM model, we consider the scope of key factors that shape and affect decision-making. Our approach help our clients identify decision strengths and barriers and develop practices and paths to strengthening decision-making effectively and efficiently.

The Decision Collaborative was created in response to a growing need to keep up with rapidly evolving decision environments, methods, and tools. Most of us aren’t formally trained in decision-making as a discipline or practice. As advanced tools like artificial intelligence reshape decision-support and expand into decision-making, traditional decision practices and rules are being rewritten. This creates increasing challenges to leaders, managers, and decision contributors. Our mission is to help alleviate these challenges.
The Collaborative is also committed to supporting practices that are aligned with your organizational and leadership needs and values, and to advancing sound and responsible decision practices.
